If your child is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has challenges with flexible thinking, initiating and sustaining play with peers, they would benefit from SLP.  The skills that are targeted during social skills therapy are:

  • joint attention

  • turn-taking

  • verbal and non-verbal communication

  • learning how to problem solve

  • emotional regulation

  • expanding the child's play skills

  • supporting functional interest and new social routines

Kristina is on the Registry for Autism Providers (RASP) list in BC and can accept direct payments from your child's autism funding.
