Assessment

The initial assessment is completed prior to the start of treatment to determine your child’s communication strengths, areas of need and to set therapy goals. Assessment may include some or all of the following: case history review, review of existing reports, standardized testing of articulation and language skills, oral-motor evaluation, and non-standardized assessment of communication and play skills. If the child has recently had an assessment from another service provider, they may not need an additional one.
